Terms of Service

We want to make your dental care experience as smooth as possible, which includes transparent financial arrangements. Before we begin any treatment, we'll discuss the costs and payment options with you.

Our fees are set independently and select procedures may differ from the Manitoba Dental Association fee guide or your insurance company's reimbursement schedule. Biosmiles is a non-assignment clinic. We submit claims to your insurance company as a courtesy, but patients are responsible for all fees at the time of service regardless of insurance coverage. We encourage you to request an estimate or preauthorization before your appointment so you can plan accordingly.

We accept multiple payment methods, including:

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • Debit

Confirming Appointment

We confirm your dental appointment at the time of scheduling. As a service to our patients, we'll send you a reminder one week before your appointment and another reminder 24 hours in advance. Please note that even if we cannot reach you by phone or message, your appointment remains scheduled, and we expect you to attend as planned.

Insurance Details

Please provide your insurance information to our reception, who will prepare the necessary forms. We're happy to provide estimates before treatment and submit claims on your behalf.

Cancellation Policy

Your scheduled appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule, we kindly request at least 48 hours of advance notice. Cancellations must be made by phone and are not accepted via email, text, or voicemail. This helps us accommodate other patients who may require urgent dental care. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a $50 fee.
